The Dinagyang Festival is a celebrated annual religious and cultural event in Iloilo City, Philippines, held every fourth Sunday of January. It honors Santo Niño (the Child Jesus) and commemorates the historic agreement between the Malay settlers and the indigenous Ati people of Panay.
In 2025, the festival took place from January 24 to 26, featuring vibrant celebrations that drew both locals and tourists. The highlight was the Ati Tribes Competition, where performers dressed in intricate “Ati warrior” costumes, complete with large feathered headdresses, showcased traditional dances, rhythmic chanting, and dynamic choreography.
The ISAT U Library joins in the celebration of the Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2025.
Come and enjoy this vibrant Dinagyang Festival for an unforgettable celebration of culture, faith, and artistry!
